Learning Chinese and Testing Your Aptitude *

This workshop is designed to introduce the characteristics of Chinese language and test your aptitude for learning Mandarin. At the end of the workshop, you will learn your aptitude for both spoken and written Chinese. We can also help you to form an action plan to go forward.

Chinese Language and Its Relational Logic*

This workshop explores the characteristics of Chinese language and how Chinese culture is encoded in its written language. We will also explore the differences between Chinese and English in terms of the types of logic embedded in English and Chinese. Participants will gain insight into not only Chinese language and culture, but also help them to develop an action plan by understanding where they are at the “left brain/right brain” spectrum.

Communicating Trust in Business Relations Between Cowboys and Dragons*

Inspired by Dr. Charles Lee’s book, Cowboys and Dragons - Shattering cultural myths to advance Chinese/American businesses, this workshop is designed to break cultural myths by learning why and how Chinese and Westerners think differently, how the differences impact the business relations between the East and West. We will explore different ways of building trust and bridging the cultural differences between the Chinese and Westerners in interpersonal relationships as well as business relationships.

* A free 30 minutes demonstration of the workshop for a group of five or more people is available upon request in Plano/North Dallas area

* The length of the workshops can be adapted to your needs ranging from 60 minutes to two hours each. We can also combine them together for a half-day or one day workshop. Fees for the workshops start from $300 per session.
