Photo Album of China Tour 2010
Beijing, Xi'An, Shanghai and Hong Kong, 6/8/2010 - 7/4/2010
A group of eighteen people took a China tour with me this summer. In addition to visiting the most popular tourist sites, such as the Great Wall in Beijing and the Terra Cotta Warriors and Soldiers in Xian, we also had a chance to visit a local community’s activity center in Shanghai where we were received royally with a drum dance, gifts, and even covered by the local Shanghai TV news. We felt as celebrities for a day! The other two highlights of the tour included visiting the World Expo in Shanghai and a two-day stay in a farmer’s bed and breakfast inn in a beautiful town, Suzhou, near Shanghai. Our last stop was Hong Kong - a city where East meets West and the skyline is among the most beautiful in the world.
