Educated in China, Canada and the United States, Jian Li holds a Ph.D. degree in Anthropology and has extensive teaching and research experiences in cross cultural communication between the Chinese and Westerners.
Combining her strength as a bilingual, bicultural anthropologist with her partners' experiences of over 12 years of corporate training, Li and her partners offer highly informative and interactive “Understanding China and the Chinese” seminars. In addition, Dr. Li teaches a course on China in SMU and she also teaches specialized Chinese language and culture classes for small groups.
Bert Olson

Bert Olson is a senior executive with over 40 years experience in international business. He has lived and worked in Europe and Australia. He has transacted business in over 40 countries.
Olson led the US delegation to the first China Air-conditioning / Refrigeration show in 1987. Currently Bert is a Principal with International Business Group LLC.

Edward Retta

Edward Retta
has lived, worked and traveled in 40 countries. Educated in the USA and
in the UK, he holds an MA in Cross-Cultural Ministry and a BS in Psychology
and Management.
Retta spent his early career in corporate America in engineering and manufacturing.
Retta has published numerous articles on cross cultural business practices. He has provided acclaimed training and consulting to companies in Europe, Africa and the Americas.
Cynthia Brink

Cynthia is a bilingual
intercultural trainer with a background in marketing and operations.
As Senior Account Executive for Business Horizons magazine, she published international editorial profiles.
Cynthia also lived and taught at the Universidad Autonoma de Campeche, Mexico.
Cynthia has given professional presentations to peers on the subjects of
emerging Gen X leaders and multinational teams at SIETAR international conferences.
Linda Adler
Consultant to We Connect to China, LLC
Linda Adler is tri-lingual in English, Mandarin and German and has worked, lived and traveled extensively in Asia and Europe. She holds a Master's Degree in International Management from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management in Arizona.
A native German raised in the US, Linda grew up bilingual in English and German. While studying Mandarin Chinese in college, she earned a full scholarship from the Taiwan Ministry of Education to study at the Mandarin Training Center in Taipei, Taiwan. After graduating college in the US with a BA in Chinese Language and Civilization, she returned to Taipei to work and study Mandarin.
Linda has worked in advertising, marketing and public relations in the travel, advertising, and high-tech industries. Her broad business experience and multi-cultural background give her a deep understanding of the nuances of cross-cultural issues.
